About Scott Monroe: Scott Monroe is a three-time National Combined Driving Single Horse Champion, has represented the United States three times at the USET level as well as once for Canada as a navigator. Honored with Horse of the Year (HOTY) twice as well as Reserve HOTY twice with Shadow, a stunning black Morgan, Scott brings 20 years of driving experience and training of athletes, including para-driving competitors. Scott recently coached Grade 1a Para-Driver Stephanie Putman to finish 5th internationally in the 2016 FEI World Para-Driving Championships in the Netherlands. Scott is a Combined Driving Judge and Combined Driving Technical Delegate and achieved PATH Level 2 Therapeutic Driving Instructor Certification. Scott looks forward to utilizing his skills to continue working with para-driving athletes, and combined with his Marine Corps background, has a keen interest in helping disabled veterans. With his recent move to Portland, Maine, he works as an adjunct trainer at Carlisle Academy for able-bodied, adaptive, and para-driving clinics and lessons.
Lessons: 60 min with 10 min of that allowed for change of whips. Spots/times will be filled on a first come first serve bases. Priority will be given to members of WNYCCA.
Lunch: BOX lunch available for purchase $5 for Saturday’s lunch break.
Dinner: Dinner is INCLUDED for all Participates lessons/auditors after Saturday Lessons.
Stalls are available for out of town guests. Arrangements can be made with High Hopes Farms directly. $25/night or $50 for all 3 nights.
